You were right about Rommel's last straight. I fell victim to it in the semi on Sunday going from 4th to 5th on the last inch of the track haha. That dude was on fire.

Thanks for the great pic Mike and awesome recap! And another rider besides Rommel with an amazing last straight was Van Ogle...saw him do it a couple of times including getting JP at the line on Sunday. Looks like a fun year ahead with some great riders in 17-18X. The track, the facility & the people were great as always...just can't understand with all of Sawyer's pull he can't make a deal with the man upstairs with the weather

Thanks Mike. It really IS easier. So much of the time, I get "shy keyboard fingers" at the thought of having to come up with something amazingly entertaining...and the clock ticks away til nobody cares anymore. With the "questions" format, I can answer the questions posed by the readers...and weave in some of my continental taste and charm (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'm sure it would get old for all involved if that was the format for every story, so I will try not to rely on it as a crutch. I want to keep it fun to read and to write.
