QUOTE (cwstnsko @ Jan 12 2012, 09:44 AM) Nice new rule regard accomplished cruiser riders not being allowed to race novice! awesome.. I'll have to read what accomplished means (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'm sure I don't qualify (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) QUOTE ("bmx gods") 11. Any current Cruiser rider earning a NAG (#1-10), Redline Cup or ROC plate, with a 20” license, will be classified as NO LESS than an Intermediate rider. Yup, no worries here... The East/West division championships sound exciting. I'm not in a place in life where I can make that many nationals though, I'm afraid (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Jere

There seems to be a gap in the rules on the State Cups (Cups, not Championships). They are mentioned as qualifying events but nowhere else in the rules. I know that their organization falls to the individual states, but some minimal context is needed such as the following that were mentioned in the conference call: - tracks can either run a State Championship Qualifier of a State Cup race, but not both
- state cup races count as double district point races
But also others that were not mentioned: - Can out of state racers get ranked in the state cups? (I don't see why not, that has no impact on USABMX)
- Can a racer residing in one state and finishing in the top 10 for the state cup from a different state qualify for the President's Cup/ROC? If so for which State?
And probably other elements of teh framework in which State Cups are to be held. Vincent

Race in the predetermined number of SCR/PCR, (hereinafter referred to as €œSCR€), events within his/her respective home state as per the following table: A rider may only earn a state title or ranking in their respective home state if that state hosts a State Series or Cup series.

QUOTE (g-mo @ Jan 12 2012, 12:06 PM) It says home state all throughout the state rules section. But that section is titled: State & Provincial Championship SeriesAnd as implied by its title it is almost exclusively about the championship series, not the Cups. QUOTE (g-mo @ Jan 12 2012, 12:06 PM) Race in the predetermined number of SCR/PCR, (hereinafter referred to as €œSCR€), events within his/her respective home state as per the following table: This is explicitly Championship again. QUOTE (g-mo @ Jan 12 2012, 12:06 PM) A rider may only earn a state title or ranking in their respective home state if that state hosts a State Series or Cup series. This is actually the only mention of State Cups in that entire section. I had indeed missed it and it does answer my last 2 questions. Vincent
