awesome.. I'll have to read what accomplished means (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'm sure I don't qualify (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

11. Any current Cruiser rider earning a NAG (#1-10), Redline
Cup or ROC plate, with a 20” license, will be classified as
NO LESS than an Intermediate rider.

Yup, no worries here...

The East/West division championships sound exciting. I'm not in a place in life where I can make that many nationals though, I'm afraid (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

There seems to be a gap in the rules on the State Cups (Cups, not Championships).
They are mentioned as qualifying events but nowhere else in the rules. I know that their organization falls to the individual states, but some minimal context is needed such as the following that were mentioned in the conference call:
  • tracks can either run a State Championship Qualifier of a State Cup race, but not both
  • state cup races count as double district point races

But also others that were not mentioned:
  • Can out of state racers get ranked in the state cups? (I don't see why not, that has no impact on USABMX)
  • Can a racer residing in one state and finishing in the top 10 for the state cup from a different state qualify for the President's Cup/ROC? If so for which State?

And probably other elements of teh framework in which State Cups are to be held.

I think that rule has been there for a while, NAG Plate = Inter or higher. Maybe they added the 'RLC / ROC' part to that rule for 2012...

It says home state all throughout the state rules section.

Race in the predetermined number of SCR/PCR, (hereinafter
referred to as €œSCR€), events within his/her respective
home state as per the following table:

A rider may only earn a state title or ranking in their
respective home state if that state hosts a State Series
or Cup series.

It says home state all throughout the state rules section.

But that section is titled:
State & Provincial Championship Series
And as implied by its title it is almost exclusively about the championship series, not the Cups.

This is explicitly Championship again.

This is actually the only mention of State Cups in that entire section. I had indeed missed it and it does answer my last 2 questions.

They need to put an "i" in there and change it to homie state, make BMX a whole different sport, more Zen.

This will save BMX.

What is this saying?
D. Women Pro
1. To be eligible from Jan through Jul 2012, a rider must have
been born in 1994 or earlier.
2. To be eligible from Aug 1st - Dec 31st, 2012, a rider must
have been born in 1995 or earlier.
3. If an Amateur rider participates in Elite Women (with the
exception of UCI Supercross or International events) that
rider will be automatically reclassified as an Elite Women in
January of the following year.

Does this mean that at a none USABMX/UCI race we will now have two types of woman pro racing? or only woman pro to go along with the the A pros and Vets? #3 has me confussed. The only place that I have seen elite woman are at the UCI events. Never seen woman elite at Powder Springs or any other B National. Will wait till Aug. to see how it will work.

Can not wait for the season to start. Good Job USABMX.

It has always been the case that any rider can race in other state races... However, they can only with the cup or championship in their home state.

On another note...

9. All kickstands, chain guards, fenders and reflector brackets
must be removed.

PULL just had a little snippet talkin about the rage of fenders coming back. Does this mean that TP would be DQ'd? Seems odd.
