USABMX "Big News" released, Summit in Louisville Options

USABMX just posted the release on facebook.
They will hold a Summit in Louisville at the end of February, similar to the old NBL congress,For the exchange of ideas between tracks, and for USABMX to disseminate information to the tracks.

Dear Tom,

2011 was an exciting year for the American Bicycle Association and many of our tracks had record years in memberships and rider counts. With the advent of USA BMX and BMX Canada, the Olympic games in London, and an expanded staff to meet your needs, 2012 promises to be our best year ever!

With all of the changes occurring, and more changes on the horizon, we are pleased to announce that we will be holding a Bicycle Motocross Summit, February 23-25, 2012. The Summit will take place in Louisville, Kentucky at the fabulous Marriott Louisville Downtown. With a welcome reception on Thursday and closing celebration on Saturday, everything in between will be devoted to educational seminars. The registration information, link to the hotel reservation page, and information about the education sessions can all be found in the informational flyer.

For the first time in the history of our sport, every track operator, clerk, official, volunteer, and racer will have the opportunity to gather, learn, and discuss how to better our sport. While the event is a good thing I will not get excited for the next big announcement I guess the ABA never herd the story about crying wolf
