It's been a long time since I haven't been pleased with the description of an item.
Honestly on this site ... it's been quite some time.

Anyway I did a swap which invloved my survivor '88.5 Haro Sport F/F/bars in exchange for an original finsh '84 GT Pro F/F.

Well the finish was far from original. Other such defects as bent fork drops were not spoken of.
Either this member :

A) wasn't experienced in collecting or

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) pulled a dump my junk deal

I emailed the member direct and explained the situation.
All I was after was a return response like ... "I didn't know" or sorry ... or what will it take to make this right.

... but no response what so ever.

This kind of no reply makes me more confident I was hosed.
This member should dually note that I was exceptionally kind to him as I scored some way highend pieces this year. ALL OF WHICH WERE HONESTLY DESCRIBED. Had this been during a dry spell or me at a bad time I would have blasted him. I prefer to change my ways and be understanding.

All I would like is a pm or an email.

Is that too much to ask ?

Rob

Let me preface with this..... I am a NOBODY in the VBMX circle(s), but it's not my first rodeo in collecting nostalgia (musclecars).

I have dealt with schisters and stone-ass awesome folks in the hobby. I have had a couple of VERY respectable dealings with Rob on my VBMX stuff, and find it dis-heartening that someone put the screws to him. Pretty sad .......

I know my VBMX stuff, and Rob will be my first phone call when I come across it. Wrong guy to screw over, whomever you are.

Wouldn't this be better suited for the "negative" forum?

Brandon it's not my intent to make a circus of the situation.
When I first got into this I would have made a scene but I have changed.

I'll email the member one more time and if no repsonse...

...respectuflly state my piece in the negetive forum.
