A couple years ago I picked up a Waterford built Sting that was painted white.The frame & fork look to be painted well with proper decals but I see blue paint in the bottom bracket & head tube,the forks are white over chrome.I have some of the Schwinn parts(cranks,stem,BB,& headset)which were blue anodized with white paint over them.
My initial thought was someone transitioned the bike into the freestyle era but am told the factory bikes were white.
Any thoughts or info?
