If we had it all to do over again the roller would be my next purchase after the bike.

Gary Ellis and several others told me about them two years before my hard headed self got one. This bit of ignorance was definitely on me.

50 seconds normal riding - 10 seconds maximum sprint - 30 minutes absolutely no stopping! A brutal but almost instantly effective workout.

Not much magic in this sport but this may be as close as it gets.

All the Best

I bought Nashbar rollers and I could use both my 20 inch and 24 inch without adjusting.

My brothers daughter won the Grands and was NAG 1 several times. The Redline trainer is what they used.

I'd rather have the roller because I strongly feel that the effort required to balance is an important part of the workout. When done right, the roller workout is pretty intense with great results.

Good Luck

hope this works just saw the question regarding standing or sitting. my son just made this the other day to see how fast his legs were going at 75% as you can see balance is key once you get up to a certain speed. what jersey riders do in 15" of snow!

when he posted this i watched it without sound first and though he just sped up the video. haha.

since my last post about standing or sitting i changed the possition of the front drum on my rollers and can now stand and sprint. what a huge difference, it makes me not despise the rollers as much.

dave i think danny did the same thing when he first got his. you have to adjust the rollers to your bike i totally forgot about that - its been so long since he got his (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

you should see the skid marks behind the rollers on the rubber floor i just noticed them the other day loli guess thats what happens when you go faster than you want to....still a great workout text him he is changing things up a bit w/the rollers this season...
