Okay guys keep up the encouragement and motivation by feeding off of others! My day was uneventful because of work all day. But tomorrow I finish my bike and training starts for 2012!

I need to quit being lazy and get into shape. Probably start my own thread logging my stuff each day. Always liked threads like that being able to watch one person's workout and progression. Hope to have my bike finished by the weekend as well.

BTW mannequin, what area you live around? Might be able to hook up for some training/riding.

Me and Steezy put 2hrs in on the road bike, saw some of my road racing buddies and hitched in with them for 4-5 miles on our way home (34miles total)

I'm surprised december has been as warm and dry as it has. Pretty soon were going to be out there soaking wet, I'm looking forward to it.

Unfortunately for me it pissed rain again here for something like the 10th day in a row. No bike time here. Maybe next year will be dry.

Stationary bike every morning on covered back porch no matter the weather that way you are use to the elements. you can pick up one cheap, all that counts is keeping your legs in motion to me and that is all i can do rite now anyway until after next operation.

ride to live
live to ride

Rode a mile on my bike which is finally back together! I live in the hood though so riding a night might have been a bad choice but I was so stoked!

Did you run the foam roller on your quads? If so that is seriously brutal!

Yeah quads are brutal. Ive been doing it for over a year. When I started it sucked but now I have stepped up to the hardest roller I could find. Either I'm tougher or it's making a difference in tissue quality. I love rolling out the back, it's like a free massage.
