our for sale section Options

In the past I have had several people complain about our for sale section.
Mostly stating there isn't anything good or much for sale in it.

Well I believe the average newbie has gotten worse from when I was a newbie.
If that's possible ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Since belonging to this site I have found the following :

'91 SE Floval Flyer
'78 Webco plus parts package
'84 GJS plus parts package

Uni cross fire number plate NOS.
TNT rear hub ... thank you Craig or "Vettefan".
The Race Inc. forks I was looking for

I could go on. I NEVER got one item from this fs section that was inaccurately described.
This has been known to happen on other sites like ebay.

You see the problem here is many too people are lazy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
They open up an ad don't see pics and do not respond asking for pics.

I for one do this on purpose. It sorts out the true collectors from the "ham and eggers".
If someone is so lazy they can't take the time to email someone with a few words asking for pics ...
Shame on them !

Now would you rather spend hours on end looking thru junk ads to find good stuff ? or

Have a smaller for sale section with out junk ?

Or would you rather compete for a highend items on eBay and pay too much.

This is of course only my $.02.

p.s. I just sold an item that was fs here for over a year.
So some people are smart and some people just aren't smart...or lazy.

I look at it from the other direction, If you are selling then I am the customer and if you are too lazy to post price and pics then youre gonna be too lazy to box correclty and ship. I know that isnt the case with you but as a general rule,if I dont see price and pics i move on.

Besides why are you in the fs section ....

You responded to 3 items I had ...
I removed them from other sites for sale section to hold them for you and you never showed.
Then you car go in a mysterious accident ... how long ago.

Not that it matters but if you ain't buying from the for sale section I believe your word is "null and void". Almost like you are simply looking for a dramatized arguement.

Go over to the "m______m" and see what kind of real bargains you can find. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

p.s. I'll do $50 on that NOS Viscount MX seat and acs seat clamps plus the Tech III lever just to see if you can prove me wrong !
