2012 Race Bike Build Thread

When my Chase frame comes in from J&R next month I'll be sure to post the pictures.

It was a toss up between the 2012 GT Speed Series with the new reverse dropout design or the Chase RSP 1.0 frame and I decided to go with the Chase but have to wait a little bit to receive it since they are not available right now.

I didn't even get a chance to race on my 2011 build (injury) so it's now my 2012 bike (hopefully).

I'm jealous... Love those Cheeta bikes!
My son has a 2002 Expert Teamline, It's one of the lightest bikes I've ever held(weighed in @14.1lbs), it rides great and my son loves it. We get lots of double takes at nationals from people walking by our tent. The back end always catches the eye (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) We're going to send it off for a new powder coat of white next month. This season I'll be adding a red stem, red cranks and a set of red rims to complete the look. I always have my eye out for those frames. Here's ours in action (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I will be building up one of the chase bikes too, slowly building up all the parts most of it all new so can't wait to see how it all goes together.

I would say race ya, but doubt mine will be finished till later jan early Feb
