Was looking at the pics from Fridays time trials on bmx mania and noticed Barry Nobles might be running a 2 speed on his bike.

If you look at the chain, it appears to be going to either a chain tensioning device or a derailleur. i can't tell if there is more than one gear on the bike though.

on bmxvideos, he said he's been testing it for the last two weeks, changing gears over the first or second double...no tension, no slip of the chain...

And that rear triangle sure doesn't look like a Ripper rear end. Looks like a Haro Team rear end.

now its all comin full circle..... isnt that Brain Lopes talking to Barry?? didnt Brian used to run this or a three speed set up??
