I got my girl a Cleveland and she loves it. The only thing I did not like about it was the head set. So I replaced it with one from the LBS. Have had no problems with it. We take it to the track and she has fun with it.

WELL I am off to wal mart- for some household items and to hunt for some hotwheels cars- if I see a DK I will give it a test ride in the aisle.

I say this is good for BMX as a whole. Speaking as someone whose bike shop I worked at occasionally and have been going to for 10+ years closed their doors on Xmas, it is so hard for Local Bike Shops to make it. We had a Performance open up a few miles from us and there are 2 Walmarts within 5 miles both directions. It isn't a mystery why we couldn't stay open. When companies put out their comfort bikes and they look exactly the same as the ones on our rack for a fraction of the cost, it hurt.

However....I can see the positive to this also. DK has now 2 UCI SX riders that they can support to make an Olympic charge (Nobles and Zula) and compete at the international level. They are able to support riders such as Kachinsky to go over seas and support our troops on USO tours. If this means they have to stock Walmart shelves, then so be it.

my nephew took his new WallyWorld DK out for his first test ride on the track yesterday. He was all smiles ear to ear. The bike rode good and fit him well. After over a dozen laps, the bike is still in one piece. I am very happy with the purchase. The only real gripe I have about it are the painted rims. Man do they make the brakes squeel with the clear pads. I do recommend a complete inspection of the bike. The one I purchased, fortunately, was put together buy someone who seemed to know what they are doing. They just didnt use any grease on the metal/metal bolts. Again, nothing big, just something I like to do. This is a great starter bike. The frame is decently built and you can upgrade it to make a great mid level/intermediate bike.
