It was a blem frame..
But the experts.. who werent there.. didnt pay for it, will tell you and me otherwise on the dates..
I say its an 86...
its when i got it.. when i raced it, still have it...

I don't know which experts your talking about, but it couldn't be an 86 because that's when they changed the dropouts. I will say this though, since it was a blem frame as you say, I don't think it's a Magnum. I think it's a magnum 37. Magnums didn't have the traditional gusset at the head tube/down tube juncture. They had the wraparound under the down tube. Mag 37 and 2000's prior to the 37's had the triangle gusset. Also Magnums with your decals were sold as complete bikes which I don't think happened till 86.
