The UCI has posted the info for the Madrid SX in late March.
Not only am I psyched that I'm going, but the track looks rad, too.

I'm digging the "on/off" jump in the men's second straight.
They run some setups like that at some of the mtb slopestyle contests; should be a new twist.

I think we will see the Olympic contenders really start rising to the top starting with this race.

I'd hate to be the person to screw up up on that "on/off" jump on the second straight looks like the speed would take you rolling over the other side like a cliff. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) It looks like a awesome track and that jump is just sweet.

That on-off jump makes my stomach turn. I can't wait to watch this.

While I don't advocate turning BMX racing into a stunt show I do think something can be done to eliminate every track being identical.

Check out some of these obstacles from mtb slopestyle contests:

The first is similar in design to the jump in question on the Madrid track.

Cool! Nice to see a different style obstacle like that. And I love how they do these drawings for the track layouts.

That is pretty cool.. Just a bigger version of what a lot of the guys already do in some of the rythym sections.. Cool to see some different jump ideas...

I like what Nick said. Don't be a wimp. Just clear the whole thing.

Will the Cereal Bowl with spoon handle exit be next? It can not be too far away...

Honestly, if it brought in big sponsor dollars and was not unsafe I would say "go for it".
Why not sell every obstacle on the track?
They're coming out of the Dell Computer Launch Pad and over the iPod Rockn' Roller; KB has a slight lead over the Nike Step It Up Step Up and into the Tide Turn; Donny Robinson goes in low and comes out in second as they approach the Progressive Car Insurance Pro Section..................
