NBL ADDS ELITE RACES TO 2010 SCHEDULE
1/17/2010

The NBL has added four (4) Elite Series races to the 2010 schedule.

The Gator Nationals in Tampa, FL; Dixieland Nationals in Lexington, SC; and the Constitution Classic in Trumbull, CT are now all Elite Series races.

The West Last Chance Qualifier in Prunedale, CA is also an Elite race on August 15.

Also on August 15, there will be Last Chance Qualifiers in Bethel, CT; Indianapolis, IN; and Peachtree City, GA.

...discuss amongst yourselves. ;-)

Cool to see Lexington S.C. as a pro series. Really good track for the pro's to run on.

More great news from NBL! They have really stepped up the last month or so. Wonder about payouts, etc. for pros. Lexington will be a GREAT track for the pros.

Peachtree for the LCQ in the Southeast has been "out there" for a while.

Joey it makes sense to make Bethel an Elite race. (sarcasm)

Since Cedar is having their National that weekend also. Glad that they finally expanded the schedule. But the scheduling of that race sucks for the pros.

My guess is that they are treating the three LCQ races as one, since they are on the same day.

Frankly, I'd rather see fewer Elite races with larger purses. As it is I think you'll see fewer and fewer riders show up to more and more races. However much the pros bemoan NBL, the one thing they can't say no to is larger paydays.

My .02¢

Best,

M

Adding more Elite titled races Im not so sure what that does for anything, they need to entice more Elites not create more and more races of the same... Hopefully it helps but Im not sure what the reasoning is I guess.

Some cool tracks I would like to go to on there, I am for it. Did anyone notice they took waterford off the schedule? Or did I miss something?

+1 on this. Don't get me wrong because I'm stoked to see them add the races. and I'm def glad to see Lexington is a pro series race.

But $$$ is hard to argue against. Sometimes less is more, especially id less means more ca$h.

I am excited about seeing the pro's out at Lexington SC. Wouldn't it be cool if we could have the Steak & Potato race in conjunction w/ this race?
