I got the exact same bike as yours and my stickers are cracked, - so yeah, I'd remove the old stickers and resticker it. But your stickers are Yellow on the "Sport" word wereas the original stickers are white.

The word was yellow on the 87's like his here, it just faded a lot real fast. The color scheme got rid of the yellow and changed to white on the 88. I remember, I had one of each at the time. They'd crack by the seat tube under the seat clamp and Haro would send me another. Well, I'd bring it to the bike shop and they'd have another in a few days. Gotta love warrantees sometimes. I still have my 88 with the white letters. Here's a pic from the 87 catalog, that yellow would fade real bad, and my old blue/black 88 one with the white letters, just to show the difference. It went to white and silver words in 88 on the blue frames.

My old 88 frame today. On the other side, the word Haro is in silver and Sport is in white.

Those were great looking bikes. Do not re sticker. Keep new stickers with it. If you ever go to sell it, just sell it with the new decals.

It's a survivor. Don't mess with it right now. Check back in 15 years.
