Hello, my name is Ryan Malinchak, I wanted to let members of the forum know that one of our own, 'BMX924' aka Victor Wilson was involved in a shooting here in Rochester, NY and was left in the hospital in trauma having to have a kidney, his spleen, and pancreas removed. He survived the injuries, but has been in an induced coma for nearly a week now while the doctors make sure that there are no infections or problems before they can close him up. He will be going in for more surgery this Thursday. He will be out of commission for some time and has a long road to recovery ahead. We will be setting up a collection fund for anyone who would like to help his family to cover the ensuing medical costs. I will post information once it is set up. If anyone wants to send cards, etc. email me below and I can give information to send them to so he will get them. Please send your thoughts and prayers out to him for a speedy recovery.

Thank you in advance

Ryan Malinchak

Here is the flyer that was sent around locally. If anyone wishes to make a paypal donation, I am accepting donations on behalf of Vic that will be brought to Towners Bike Shop. Email me for info. Rcmalinchak@gmail.com

Friends,

A very special person, Victor Wilson, was critically injured in an accident on Thursday October 29th and his road to recovery will be long and painful. For those fortunate enough to know Vic he is an amazing person filled with passion for his family, his friends, bmx, and motorcycles, just to name a few. After fighting for his life he is now left without a spleen, kidney and large portions of his pancreas and small intestine. The medical and recovery expenses are going to be astronomical for Vic and his family and we’re asking for help. Please drop off or mail in anything you can spare to the location below of your choice. Cash or checks payable to “Victor Wilson”.
Your help is very much appreciated.

Wow! A shooting in Hot Shots. I used to play volleyball there all the time.
My thoughts go out to him and his family.
