Just got it in and put it on the cruiser. The dumbest looking thing i have ever seen. Gonna save me some pain though. Are these things even legal to race with?

hey baggy pants..wrap a piece of electrical tape around your Quad to keep back of pants from being sucked in.. Man that's scary..

One of the kids went to supercross training at chula said he got sucked into rear wheel and showed me the crash video.. yikes..

Then I saw him pull manualing 6-8' high jumps at full tilt at Nashville and I thought..now I can see why...

I dunno what is worse a fender or girl pants with a white belt. hahaha

Dont ya think your getting too low? Pick it up 2" Those do make for the coolest pictures, down the back side of jumps it looks like your hittin, but not.. you are.

Shorten up that rear tri a bit you will never want to get that low. hahaha.

A couple tricks you might try out .

raise seat - abs will hit first
smoother rear tire - will just slide
longer cranks -will let you get back further.

I lowered my seat in order to meet the challenges of this problem.

Here is a pic of Todd Parry's carbon fiber fender that he put on his Cruiser for the same purpose.

I took this at the 2008 ABA East Coast Nationals.

No matter how low the seat is i was still getting caught. It's my riding style and is this legal in either sanction?

Well TP has it on ABA bike..see rule book ad I never saw anything in NBL book anti fenders.. Ive seen dudes slap em on the front for mushy rain races a few years back..

Paint some flames on it and get maching for front to make it look like a tricked out beach cruiser.

Id go for full look.. Flat Blk Intense Podium,, front fender..I'd custom the rear fender and go all the way around with 2 braces and throw a small LED light for tail light night racing..

Carbon fender with a some ghost flames...might as well go for it.
