I've had this in my collection forever. I can't even remember where I got it but it's a vinall Patterson window sticker that is still in killer shape. Iv'e never seen another one.

Nice, I have to tell my Patterson sticker story here. I think I've probably posted this before but it's sickening enough for another round. I used to have a screenprinting business with John Crews after we quit racing. In 87/88ish, after they pulled the plug Brent and Brian called all their friends and told them to come get what they wanted. When John went down there most of the good stuff was gone but he came back with maybe a frame or two, a couple of cases of padsets, a few hundred frame sticker sets, and a few various others like that one. We used the stickers to tape off screenprint frames because it was cheaper than tape. The padsets he gave free with a bike purchase when he first opened his shop.

Lets see, 200 sticker packs at $40-50(last time I saw one on ebay). Maybe 50-100 padsets at ?.

I got these in Taiwan in 1989. The manufacturer asked for my input on them and I made a few recommendations (most notably, the double pinch bolts and the stepped profile). I never saw the parts on the market in the US, and I am fairly sure these are the only two survivors.

It should be noted that Scott Towne had a similar idea in the early 80's that he called "The Enforcer," though Scott's did not have an integrated seat clamp. Aside from the stepped profile and double pinch, the product was in development before I hit Taipei, lest anyone think I was trying to rip off rather than riff off of his earlier creation.

Yeah. A seatpost clamp with an "intensifyer" so the post stays straight.

How about this.. An original Hutch Number Plate... still in the original bag - with the original sticker price on it of $13.95. I got this on Ebay about 6 months ago - paid over 350 for it... worth every penny..
