Hey Guys
I'm wanting to build a replica of John crews #53 Redline (the one with the black Skyways). It's a personal favourite of mine.
I'd like to know what parts were on this bike? What model Redline was it?

Also any photos with be Fantastic as I love the bike and have very few pics! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
...and yes, I know that finding Campy Graphites are almost impossible so I'll use the
ColoredTuffs.com anno hub covers (when they're available). Also the complete padset will be hard to track down too...LOL

Any help, answers or advice is greatly appreciated. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Here's a pic of the bike as I want to build it...

Cheers

John is a member here, but not someone who visits the boards often.

John Crews ran Phil Wood hubs, with Araya rims at some stage. The Aero ads around 81. July 81, BMXA. There is a photo of him next to RL Osborn (on their bikes). John Crews is running Comp II tires, Phil Wood hubs, Araya 7c rims, Redline pinchless Flight cranks, Suntour seat clamp, Oakley (I think .5) grips, a Shimano DX lever, Suntour MP1000 pedals, and he has a plain number plate with the number 10 on it, with one Oakley rub on, two Aero rub ons, and a Bicycle Motocross Action rub on.

Email me (axsyscnc@ihug.co.nz) and I will send a scan of the page to you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Cheers,

Mike
