i've been trying to get on the Louisville Fire Department. they just announced they were hiring and of course i was stoked! i submitted my resume and when i got my test date, i couldn't believe me eyes!

Sept. 1rst!!!

of all the worst scenarios....Sept. 1rst! 8:00am!!!

i immediately called them to see if i could reschedule, but the guy said, "no deal." so i will be missing the first round of motos for class...hoping that i can take the test fast enough to get there for the cruiser first round...

That sucks Tommy.

In the NBL can you still transfer out if you have a DNS, I figure you could go DNS, 1, 1, as I know you will have that home track advantage, but do the NBL rules allow you to still make it out? For some reason I think a DNS is different than a DNF. Just something you might want to check out before signing up.

You will simply get last place plus 2 for the first round of motos. So it won't be easy. For example:

You miss round 1 and there are 6 in your moto. You get (6+2) 8 moto points.

Then if you win round 2 and 3, that would give you a total of 10 which should easily transfer you out. But I was told that they plan on putting you, Meaker, JT, Jud and Lehman all in the same moto. So, you need to have your A game.....

you can still transfer. D-Neil missed his last moto last year and still transfered out to the main so you should be good to go bro.

Ken...the is perfect for your last post! LOL!

Anyway...Tommy, that sucks...assuming you can roll through the test you should be good to make it for the 2nd round on both bikes. Have to talked to anyone else who's taken the test? Any clue how long it normally takes? Either way, I'll be pulling for you to make it over in time!
