Vintage BMX Rider Monty At Moses Lake Event

Moses Lake BMX in Moses Lake, Washington
hosted a SCR event this Memorial weekend
and it brought out alot of BMXers from all over
the Northwest. In the mist of all the BMX
action, we cought Vintage BMX Rider Monty,
taking a ride on a new Schwinn Sting. Is it
a Sting or has Monty been stung by the new
Schwinn Sting bike. ( check out the photos )

We will let Monty fill us all in on what he
thinks of this new Schwinn Sting bike....

BTW - Grate job Monty, in your racing
at the Moses Lake BMX track this weekend.

I had a blast, real nice track and facility. batting cages and arcade right next door, the on-site bike shop was real cool to see. track itself is first rate, built by the master himself, Billy Allen. 51 motos for thier SCR, i ended up with a first in expert and a 3rd in cruiser. pretty good points day for me. but the biggest surprise of the day was my 15 year old getting the win in cruiser. Mom was just a little happy.

Now, about the "wal-mart" bike. I got to talk to Gene for quite awhile, and ride his precious Sting. I can honestly say that it rides real smooth and tight. i only did one lap on it, but i could get use to it after a few gates. now Gene runs shorter cranks than me, so it felt over geared for me. and it could go on a diet as far as forks and a few other components go. but over all not a bad bike Gene,

Now we just need to get you on the track with it and put down the camera..........

A BIG Thanks to Gene for taking all the time to shoot and post tons of pics. He has them up and posted on the web before some of us get home ! My kids get a thrill when they see a shot of them on the net. One of the best and nicest guys in the sport.

Congrads on the wins Monty, and everyone.

Well I have had the Sting on the track at ML
at the RFL event and if you where there when
I did, I don`t think you could miss it or forget
it as I put some big time fun in to having some
fun on the track. I guess I should start thinking
of getting my fat butt on it more than just that
one time. We will see what happens on down
the road with in time...........

As fare as the photos go Thanks for the all
props But this last run I have landed in a
small problem of the Bandwidth Limit Exceeded,
and I am so BIG time sorry for this everyone!

Im crossing my fingers that it will reset on the
first of June as there was alot of good shots
takin at Moses Lake. I tell you all what, if the
Bandwidth thing does not fix its self by Friday
I will repost them all on a webshot account
and repost URL`s but Im hopping that I dont
have to go that fare with it but I will if it don`t
fix its self up. - where the photos are is a shared
account with bmxair and things have been working
well for the last year now up till this little thing...

Less just hope the Bandwidth thing resets its
self as the photos of Monty and everyone turnd
out real good and are some of the best shot yet.

Again Im sorry everyone for the Bandwidth thing.
But please keep checking back so when it resets
you all can get a look at all the cool shots from ML

The web always has surprises one day to the next.

the web at times, -- Hope you all enjoy!
