My knee is starting to seize up. Just lucky I kept my good looks and avoided all the work Reece had to endure.

BMX or MTB James?

If BMX, your answer is KMC Z610HX. Indestructible.

I run one on the PK.

It was a brand new KMC K710SL chain, Kurt. Broke where I had to add in the half link. Hollow pins never seem to go back in properly. It's the same chain I have used for the last 4 years. Should have just kept the rusty one on there.

Glenn, no bull bar required, maybe if I just wear a sumo suit when I ride.

Ha! Weight Weenie! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Pleased you are OK(ish) though.

That U2 collection sounds awesome Mike.

I was hugely into U2 from about '82. I clearly remember the first time I saw that amazing Red Rocks concert.

I stalked the local record bar every day for weeks back in 1984 when Unforgettable Fire was due for release. Still have that LP here with all the paper inserts too. Also bought the mini-album of that too. Again, still here in LP. Don't know why, but despite trying, I have really struggled to get into U2 in the same way since "Pop".

I'm the same, though when Achtung Baby came out, that was it for me. I just couldn't get into it.

I made contact with a record shop in Dublin. Anything u2 they got in (used or brand new), they would hold on to, and then fax me the details, and I would fax back if I wanted it or not. I would then organise a bank draft and post it, and they would post me the records. This was before the internet. Great days. They located REALLY rare stuff for me.

I miss those days. Things were a lot simpler (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Bought an early 80's boombox today with all this talk about old LPs. Listening to it at the moment! Sharp VZ 2000...

Recently watched a 2011 doco about U2 preparing for their first Glastonbury appearance and doing all the songs from Achtung Baby. Pretty interesting. I'm sort of the same although I still enjoy their more recent stuff.

Still have to get the double sided LP player sorted (needs new needles) but the rest is awesome. Great condition. Been listening to my old 80s tapes all night. What a trip. 36lb portable boombox lol.

On the U2 stuff don't get me wrong. I still enjoy their singles and appreciate their huge talent. Just can't get into them enough to buy an album. I think I have only bought one album since Zooropa. Bono would still be on the list for my 6 person fantasy dinner party. In a totally non gay way of course. Not that there's anything wrong with that. lol.
