Nice! Great score.

I've got a Moto3 and a Shoei S3 half face out the back too.

Good one Kurt. I have a Pro-Tec, it's just a modern style as that one wasn't around at the time. Perhaps I can go that style over here. Probably need a bike first. Actually, probably need a car before anything.

SOAR, didn't we all go out with the prettiest girl. Well at least that's what we would tell ourselves until a prettier one came along. And who was was? Welcome from a US based Aussie.

Aaah those pics tell the story. It's not what I thought it was. Explains the better parts too.

1980 Koizumi-made Madison Taipan. Same frame as the Large Pro DB, with a different gusset. Not the pos frame it looked in your first pic.

0x = 1980 September.

Thanks for the info Kurt!

Need a seat tube replacement though due to holes drilled in it and the snapped off bit where the seat clamp sits

Worth fixing you think?

I doubt it Reece. The way prices are at the moment it's only gonna be worth 2 or 3 hundy fixed up and the repair wouldn't be cheap. Cool old frame though.

Reece in 1980 my friend Moose had a Taipan with TX500s and MX2 but in yellow. I remember it being super light and road well.
Ride it and see if you like it as there are 2 obvious ways to make that frame work without welding.
