1982 # ZL554 Anyone ever see a head tube like that ???

I just looked at a picture of me racing at Deptford Dust bowl in NJ back in the 1983 time frame. I am riding that same bike (frame/fork). I think that I traded a frame set with Andy Currie from Chip-N-Dale Mt Holly NJ and that he may have gotten it from "Jumpin" Jarrett Justice.

I just got this from a guy named Rick Trenton/ P.A. area
He said he got it new from a bike shop?

I had one bitd that I got from Jim Woodworth
( Action wheels)
but I don't remember the head tube beinng so big ??

i have them....just need fork decals...i will have them at Steves on the 24th...they are Chris B repros, thats what i have on my Phaze 1.

I used to ride with Jarrett all the time back then, I do recall him having some CW's with weird headtubes. Next time I speak with him I'll ask him if he remembers about them. We spoke awhile ago and I asked him if he had all the stuff he used to have and Unfortunately his Mom had thrown away tons of stickers and stuff he had left at the house years ago

probably one of the earlier VDC-made frames. i have a VDC with about the same length HT.
