For all her BMX fans and friends, just wanted to pass along that Deanna took an awful fall in her mains Sunday at Rockford in the first turn, landing on her head and left shoulder and sliding all the way from the top of the asphalt to the bottom of the turn. She has a 3" AC shoulder separation and will be seeing a sports medicine specialist soon to be evaluated. ER doc said she'll need surgery to repair it, but she will see what the specialists tell her. And being Deanna, she insisted on driving herself home from the ER to Michigan. Thank goodness she got there safe. Big thanks go out to the ABA staff, the EMTs at Rockford, Alex Kienlen (Elvis), Jim Morey, Michelle Posey and everyone else who helped at the track. I know she'll be posting to let us know how she's faring soon. Please give her your love and support--I'm sure she will appreciate that from her BMX family!

Thanks for posting thsi Sandi,

I spoke with Deanna for a while this morning once she was up and around and she is bummed but we have a plan of attack to get her healed and back on her bike soon. I know he had so much fun in the Rock this weekend and had been missing her BMX Family, and she is way bummed to of crashed but we all know it is part of BMX racing.

I know she appreciates everyones concern.

Have a great day!
