Let the new build begin! Looks like I will be coming back full circle as I started with Haro back in 1986 when I got a Haro FSX, which was stolen unfortunately but that led to me betting a Haro Master the next year which I really wanted more as I loved the look and twin top tubed frame. I had and rode that Haro the longest, from 1987-2010 before I sold to build a GT. I also won 4 contests with it which I still have the trophies from 87, 88, 89, and 90. I also had the 2005 Teal sport which I loved as seen in this album, very smooth but a tank and was a bit heavier than what I was used to. I saw that Haro re-released two versions of this bike a new school one with modern parts and a vintage 1987 one which is a true 1987 frame and forks with the fold up standers. No need to repaint or buy new decals as it is brand new! I also love the black and neon yellow color scheme just like it was back in the day. So I decided to build that one up as I prefer old school geometry as that is what I always had. But I might try a new school one someday also if I get more room. I'm gonna design it with the same parts or close to what I rode with before, should be fun! Not I got to watch my Team Haro VHS tape from 1989 and DVDS lol. I still have most of my old school VHS tapes and a DVD set also with a lot of them, like 14 discs! Let the Fall/Winter build begin! Time to get RAD old school for life baby!

If I ever update my photobucket (and remember how to post pics) I'll post some of my 2017 Lineage Master I just finished last week. Holy crap I'm in love. Rides like a dream. So natural doing flatland on that frame again 30 yrs later. And looks to kill. That exact frameset you posted has been my all-time favorite in looks and rideability since it came out in 87 and the new version does not disappoint.

Oh yeah, and I sprang for the Lineage forks with the flip-up standers. $200, but well worth it. From the curb the 2017 looks just like the 87.

Does the 87 Tribute frame have the water transfer graphics??? The 2017 Lineage version does. It's like they're painted on. Freaking amazing.

OK I got the bike pretty much done just need to add wheels, but I decided to sell and list it on the bay as I want to do an 88 and maybe another GT, so need to make room. But came out great!

Since I had this fully built before selling it I decided to just throw on the tires and get some pics came out great! I sold because I saw that Haro was coming out with the turquoise/teal 88 Master which was my dream bike as a kid, so I will be building that vintage one next when it arrives!
