I've always known there were two of these frame and fork sets in my hometown and since I know the owners I figured I could just take my time and eventually end up with at least one of them. Recently one of the fellows showed interest in selling his and my brother was able to score it. I sent the info to the other owner and he casually mentioned that he'd be interested in selling his. F/F, DK XL stem, Redline single pinch cranks, Hutch pedals, Kashimax Aero, Galindo bars and a pair of Shimano sealed mechanism hubs. I offered what I felt was a fair price and sure enough he went for it. I like that two original F/F sets that have been in my hometown since the 1984 will remain here. Serial # DR1048. No, it isn't for sale.

I'm heading off to work in a minute and I'll post with more detail at 11:00pm, but to make a long story short, A guy out of Pennsylvania (last name Dale) had a couple looptail frame and fork sets built up in 82 and he took one to the Noth Park Park National in 83. BMX action ran a photo it. After the initial 2 prototypes, CW fabricated the other 48 frame sets with standard seat and chain stays. I believe VDC was involved with the prototypes. They made a total of 4 sets in Black and the rest chrome with either black or blue decals. Aside from the few the owner of the compnay still has, I don't know of any other that has surfaced.

Cleaned up nice too bad someone used a 10 foot cheater bar on the end of the wrench to tighten the rear axel. Damn those are the worst ones I've seen in a long time.

Don't have those swapped out it would destroy the value of the frame.

I remember that picture is BMXAction. That one is a looptail. Is this one here earlier or later than the one in the magazine?
