Anyone racing Faribault on Sunday? Reg is 2-3 and there will be a potluck dinner (bring a dish to pass if you would like to participate)

My kids and I are going.

We will be getting to the barn in a few weeks as well.

I was planning on racing this weekend until the Kernal had troubles getting around turn 1 at the barn tonight. Once I was able to catch my breath again, we had a good laugh about it and then started to take inventory of the injuries. Famous last words "Just one more time".

The barn looked great tonight. The crew has spent some time cleaning and painting to really brighten up the place. The track design is really fun. There are a couple of fun doubles to jump, even for us old guys.

Yea, just one more time.. I have never smashed my face into the dirt that hard before, my jaw is still killing me. Shortly after I hit and made a big moan sound I heard Kraker hit and make the same sound. We both hit very hard. I was trying to ask him if he was ok, but apparently he couldn't speak because he had knocked the air out of himself. Memories.....anyone know where I can get some ti-spokes around here? I took 2 of them out in the crash.

What the hell happend? After I left obviously.....one more time, right! Said that to myself many times and later regret'n it.

Had fun last night, track was great, sticky, fast... first jump after the first corner is a little narrow on the right, but that's a weird part of the track anyway. (Nice job DUG and Matt). Since not riding a 20" at all since February, I am one sore Mofo-this Morning.

What's the gearing consensus for the barn on a 24" ? I may be able to race on Sunday.Keep in mind I am not a spinner or a winner. Seriously, what is a good gear ratio to run.

39-42/18

38-41/17

Mine has 40-18 w/ 175's for the barn. works well, a little easy maybe. Then again I don't ride 24" anymore... I don't ride 20" anymore either- haahaahaa. I did last night. fun!

Starting to feel like I can race tomorrow and Springer is going to decide in the morning so we could have a 41+ class tomorrow.

41-18 is a good starting point for the barn unless your Mike Auman and you can pull a 43-16. The new layout is really good and everything is safe for us older guys. You'll have fun.

Feelin kinda left out. Think it might be time to build up a cruiser again. I'll have to accept getting blown away by the ATR boys for awhile but would enjoy taking Prudhomme into the wall a time or two!
