Yeah but these are designed with BMX in mind and come with a 44t gear. They fit on standard BMX frames without shimming or finding the correct alignment for the chain.

Zero issues with alignment and they come with all the right shims and chain ring bolts and a set of gears you can use on your MTN BIKE but hey the dks are designed for bmx so go ahead and use a lesser product because they were designed for bmx . My 14 year old can flex the DK's And they are like spinning a pair of bricks but they were designed for bmx by a bmx company.

Bunk i say !I push the scale past 200 and have never felt them flex .I added a hawk bottom bracket to mine and they are very nice cranks .They have never came loose ,unlike some other brand cranks i have ,and are much stiffer then the others ive rode .I cant compare vs dxr or other 2 piece cranks but vs 3 piece cranks ive rode theres no comparison .THE CRANKS ARE VERY NICE i never had 1 single issue with mine ,flex ,cost ,or maintainance [never cleaned or took them off til recently]

BS...I can't flex the DK cranks and I squat over 450 ...I bet your frame is flexing not the cranks(the cranks probably are stiff enough that they put the forces on the chainstays). FWIW I can flex any frame if I press on it at the gate, you can see the BB twist. Some frames worse than others.

Look i never said they where horrible but someone said they where the best bang for the buck in 2 piece cranks and i pointed out that they are not we have had most all of the 2piece cranks on the market from Shimano XTR to DK, CRUPI and now we run DXR's the Slx cranks are the best bang for the buck they are light and decent in the stiffness category. If you love your dk cranks great I'm glad enjoy them.

Only problem with the SLX is that they are only 175mm no 180's or yes I'd be running them too.
I do agree that if you run 175's these cranks rock.

Boy, you guys are cranky!… (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
The DKs do look purdy nice.

I've got a set of 1982 square Profiles that are still in use…
But I like my Sinz XXX better. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Let your crankin' do the talkin'!

OK, I'll go now.

I got $$ that says half of these guys complaining about flex and weight are talking about the dk profile style cranks, and not the dk dxr style cranks... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Oh and I had the dk profile style for a while, SOLID as a rock and I am bigger than all of you by a lot.

Could be, I know for a fact that the DK Flash cranks are the real deal though. I do not run them as I run Cliq Weaponz 177.5's on my bike. That said if I were recommending cranks to someone the DKs would be on the list. I've ridden DXRs too and to compare them to others is not really fair (although Shimano's BB is pretty garbage IMO), but the DKs felt just as good to me. DXRs are stiffer by a bit and all but when you consider price, assuming you don't have unlimited funds, I would seriously consider getting the DKs first.
