Bob Hunt-was Torker support
Marty Luker-lowest nat. # was 2 in cruiser,3 in expert.
Mark-
Kakaurus was never full factory Jag so I only put the two teams that I knew he had a full ride on. We won't get into why he turned down Hutch do we?
Travis was in the last edition of the Terrible Ten. They prefaced it by saying that the riders from the previous Terrible Ten wondered why Travis included. He wasn't even on the almost made it list. At the time he was going at it and doing really well against guys like Kevin Hull and Charles Townsend. I think you had already stopped racing by then. It was around 87 or so.
Johle, Williams, and/or Ellis weren't racing Gossrau when he was 16 and 17? Maybe he or they had birthdays mid year or something? Or someone had turned pro already? I thought he and Gary Ellis were the same age. I remember the Magic Mountain picture where Paul is straddling his bike in the front turn and everyone is crashing into him. Leone and Osmus are in it for sure, maybe a Diamond Back guy and a few others...
I think by the time I started racing Wallace wore all Torker gear. He wasn't racing as much as he had been but I'm pretty sure he was riding all Torker gear. Maybe it was the same deal as Hunt? Or maybe I'm mixing the two guys up. I remember him riding for MCS.
Does the NBL have a list somewhere of all of the national ranked riders from each season? I'd like to see something like that.
