The first couple built were the loop tail. CW told him that they wouldn't do the loop so Dale went with the standard rear end and drop outs for the rest of the production run.

Nice, thanks for the info.

That's a great find you dug up there. Any idea what happened to the bike in the BMXaction shot?

Actually, I didn't even wipe it down with a rag. Thats the condition it's been in since it was disassembled years ago.

GBOSS ....

Do you read the thread or just look at the pics (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

CW drops, CW looking forks ....

Brian B you should post this over on society under the "obscure" thread.
1 of 2 ... what was total production ?
Just curious ... hands down a gorgeous piece despite the drops.

Beyone rare .... "obsure" (Spur)

Rob,
Thanks! Actually the total run was around 50 with the first two being loop tails. 3 or 4 were finished in black and the rest were chrome.

Nice - I believe that would be five off hand - grey boy has one - Haney another - and the third one slips me, but theres another plus yours and the other your brother happened upon.

Looks really clean those drops could be addressed with minimal damage you should clean them up a little for preservation sake - god forbid it led to a crack later on because you didn't, doesn't sound like reselling is a thought anyway - fix them just enough without having to go heavy to we're the finish would need redoin.

they look like nat pro minus the brace. Love that the decals are intact ! Killer !
