and I am way out of shape! I didn't get nearly enough time on the trainer this year and I can definitely tell.

I took a nice 18 mile loop this afternoon and it was nice just to be outside away from the trainer.

Hope the rest of you can get outside...

Did a 30 mile loop to start the season off last weekend. Helping the wife train for the MS 150 (Houston to Austin) at the end of April. Legs felt good, the wind sucked....or blew, whichever you prefer.

I have an 20-month-old son so it definitely cuts down on my riding time.

All I did on the trainer this winter was 10 hours total. I watched the 2001 TDF 10 hour DVD.

Speaking of road rides, it was sooo nice today I decided to skip mowing the lawn and all manner of other responsible things, strap on the Sidis for a little ride. Well, it's been warm this week here in Atlanta and darn near everything is blooming all at once (the pollen is staggering). Well, I've been gulping Dayquil in order to breathe and let me tell you -- a climb in 88 degree weather, in eye-watering pollen after a big slug of Dayquil? Not really advised! lol I felt slightly dizzy after only about 30 minutes and had to come home and chill out. I did manage to go for a short spin on my Redline PL24 after dark though!

Put my first ride in last weekend. The Madonen still feels great and it was just so nice to be out without rain.
