race inc. rm2 ?

how do you get an age on a race inc. bike.. i believe it is an 82'.. the serial # is rm39324.. will get pics if needed to help with any questions.. and does any one have a neck, pedals, etc.. for a 1980 supergoose.. i already have the decoster forks for it as well as proclass wheels and proclass bars.. any help would be great and i DO have paypal.. thanks oh and i will need a good quality nos or close set of brakes for the race inc. preferred in annod. blue color!

here are some pics of the race inc. i picked up.. hte chrome finish is like new.. and when i took off the cranks to regrease and the bearings the inside of the bottom bracket was so clean you could eat off of it no poop poop poop, I say again, poop !!! thats how well this bike has been taken care of.. has original araya 7x blue wheels and blue avocet hubs, has blue first gen dx pedals, origial blue anno. v-bars, ame tri grips, original tuf-neck seat clamp in like new cond but not nos, sugino snoflake 42 tooth chainring, and what look to be sakae cranks... could be wrong but they are dated 80 on right drive arm, am waiting for my blue viscount seat to get here then will have my complete bike ... also has a team scwinn/suntopur stem as well as team schwinn freewheel.. i think it came out pretty good.. so now do you have an idea of the yerar of this.. will post my 1980 supergoose here after awhile.. have 5 other project bikes im doing at the same time so it takes awhile.. thanks

Uhhh pics? Race Inc serial numbers mean nothing really. The RM stands for moly and the RA stands for alloy. The chromoly frames were 78-84.

but nearly 98 % of all race inc. bikes were put together at the shop from kits you picked out from the bike shop if i remember correct... so its either the rf1-2 forks either a straight fork or the drop style like the tange's on it already.. but i have been looking for those forks regardless.. specially in the blue color.... but thanks for the input honestly...

those Tange TRX are era correct for that bike, I had them bitd on my Race Inc.

Correct, Race Inc offered two different forks. Frames were sold seperately from forks or you could get kits that came with either fork. Any 79-84 fork is era correct for these chromoly frames

Kit's also came 2 ways 1st Frame and Fork 2nd Frame,Fork,Bars and Seatpost!

Correct, and the big kit also included xcaliber seat post clamp and padset.
