any markings on the steerer tube? it's taiwanese or chinese something. pretty generic / common style.

Not Cycle Pro because they had 2 welds on the inside of the dropouts. Not Tange They had markings or stamps on most of them plus caps are only tack welded on. Overseas Cheap Copies as Mr. C Said!

100% not Cycle Pro. The holes on CP's continues to get larger. That small bottom hole is for holding an axle tab, normally found on department store type bikes. Def. a Cycle Pro look alike, but, that's about it, a look alike.

Well since everyones telling what they are not I'll tell you what they could be. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I have a '83 Tange made Ross Pirahna frame.
Now the frame was made by Tange which the forks are not.

However the factory forks on my '83 Ross Pirhana were made by Ross or a sub contractor.

Those forks look identical to the forks that came on it.

Although not high end by collector standards those forks look to be in very nice shape.

Interested in buying a 1983 Tange made Ross frame in nice shape ? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Thanks for the info. I also picked up some unused moosegoose forks and 24 inch gt forks from the same guy.Im gonna post pictures of them soon. Two figure out what year they are. Im guessing 82 or 83.
