Egads! $300 for a Gold stem??? WTF It's polished as well !!
Damn ebay has gone stupid! Oh well. Feels good to be a bottom feeder sometimes.
JB that jump/start hill was a cool place to ride. Thats where I got told I was being sponsored by Champion. Andy told me standing on that hill.
Oh and shoe wise I rode with volleys until JB and Rohan went to the US. Then the vans rolled proudly.
BTW My Dad still wears KT26s today. I kid you not!

Hi everyone,

Thought i'd come on again and introduce myself .

John's the name 38yrs old married, two step kids, currently living in Sydney. Born in Brisbane, dad was in the army for 33yrs moved a lot between Brissy and Perth. (Army brat)

Dad got out of the army in 82 and we stayed in Perth, I lived in Padbury, North Beach, Carnarvon worked as a roof tiler, builders labourer and deck hand until 1990 then joined the army myself and moved back to Brisbane lived at Enoggera and Everton Park.

Moved back to Perth in 96 with the army and lived at Swanbourne, Scarborough, Double View and Nedlands. Moved to Sydney 2002 got out of the army in 2004 and now work for the government in another capacity.

Parents still live in Padbury and my sister lives in North Beach.

Sorry to bore you with all the details just thought some of us may have crossed paths at some stage.

Cheers,
John

Hi,

Don't think i'll be able to make it to Perth in November. Does anyone from Perth remember the BMX track that used to be on Marmion Ave just near Duncraig high? I remember going down there quite a bit back in the eighties I also remember when they shut it down and built a housing estate, look at that area now.

Only ever had a MCS Magnum, hoping to get myself a Hutch one day. I'm torn between my other passion though, Muscle cars.

John
