Miami Hopper, Miami Beach Florida

Quadangle Mark and I rode around South Beach this Saturday past looking for these Art After Dark installments. There weren't any that were good, so I decided to do my own artistry. Shout out to Woody Itson, I modeled my Hoppers after yours. I ended up doing tricks in lincon road until aboout 7a. Good times, wish you were there

Lunchbox 67 invented the no handed and barspinning Miami hop-hops, I don't know why he hasn't weighed in here or added a pic.

Love that Skyway letter Strike. I remember Menlo Park local John Ficarra busting four out of five spokes on a Toughwheel with one tailwhip on a dare once at Beach Park bikes.

Heh thanks man. As a kid I was floored, hurt and embarassed that they thought I was taking advantage of them, I mean they were supposedly practically indestructable right? Looking at it now, yeah I guess I was lol.

I switched to 48's shortly after this and never looked back. I still do love Tuffs though.

I still don't understand why the "Miami Hopper" did not involve hopping, and you had to say "Miami Hop Hops" to indicate hopping. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

it's probably mentioned in this thread, somewhere... it was named after its inventor - Paul Hopper.
