Dude, really good for not doing it in 20 years. Really good, period! Muscle memory is an amazing thing, isn't it!
Thanks for the replies! Yes im amazed how muscle memory works. Its like the balance points & the whole mechanics of everything is engrained into your brain. All its takes is a bit of practice & overcoming some fear. Being off the bike for so long long it really is a mental thing. You THINK you arent able to pull anything off. Then you do & it just snowballs from there. Like holy crap I just did it LOL. Just like back in the day you start off with small easy moves & graduate to the next one. Its also hard to remember tricks you used to do...like everything. Theres always the big ones that were your favorites but all the other oddball filler type tricks. My best freind came down last year & rode my bike for a few mins, he was able to pull of some boomerang thing. I was shocked myself. I will have to admit though after just an hour of riding im very sore the next day. My fingers, back, wrists etc. Way outta shape. At my peak I used ride min 3 hours a day. Even more on weekend so it does make sense. It does take some work though & can be a bit frustrating. Cant ride that much anymore even if I wanted to....something about being an adult & having responsibilities get in the way somehow....LOL
