Elf DX is the traction plate model where the down tube is double butted? A larger tube in a small diameter tube? The brake bridge is rectangular and not the standard round tubing? I ask because I have one and the serial number is stamped under the rectangular brake bridge. It's stamped 68922 and I'm thinking it was built June 1989 frame number 22. Let me know.

I put an ELF Todd Blazer model on ebay and offered it on here several times and I damn near couldnt give this thing away.. NO ONE wanted it!. I decieded to just keep the thing and someday repowder it. I dont know much about Todd Blazer or the frame I have that is supposedly his signature model. If anyone can tell me, Id love to know. I think its from the 1985 era or earlier. Thers no serial numbers on this thing ANYWHERE. It has the double drop outs. Can anyone tell me anything about this???

I raced ELF bikes back in the mid 80's and kicked some $$$ on my expert and cruiser. I just got back into racing again and I would love to get my hands on an ELF frame. Was the best bike I ever had.
