Early Christmas Present...Your Help, Little Dude Made a Wish

One of my wife's former students has a friend who can use an outpouring of BMX generosity.
Noah Biorkman is a little five year old in Michigan who is at the end of a 2 1/2 year battle with neuroblastoma cancer.

Noah's family is celebrating Christmas next weekend since his doctors don't think he'll make it to Christmas. One of his wishes is for Christmas cards, nothing impossible, just simple cards.

He's not a BMXer. He's just a little kid that won't have the chance to take part in what we've all enjoyed. I know a lot of you will help him get his wish.

What an awful story and I can't even imagine what the parents are going through. South Lyon is where my sister lives and 20 mins from where I live. I will be sending a Christmas Card to lil Noah today.

Thank you for posting the site. I have to admit that occasionally these old eyes might leak a little...ok, more than a little. So, I'll blame you this time.

I don't know what else we can send. Maybe throw in a BMX picture of yourself, and let him see who his new friend is. I just don't know.

I saw in the articles he likes matchbox cars, and the Detroit Tigers. I'm going to try to overnight him a little package with a card, picture of his new friends (my family) and some little toys.

Being a somewhat new parent with a 1 year old, I can't even fathom what this is like for them.

If you read this post something so this topic will stay at the top of the forum.


I want to challenge everyone to get something to this kid. He has gone through more than some of us will go through in our life time.

All he is asking for is a Christmas card. That is only 3 or 4 dollars with the stamp. We are a BMX family lets welcome this little kid into our family.

My challenge is that we bless this family with more than just a Christmas card put something in it.

It cost $50 for 1 National race a race that this kid will never get the chance to have. Thats my challenge.

It's on it's way God Bless you little Noah and may he comfort you and your family.
