i have a 3/16 kmc chain, will this fit on a 1/8 rear sprocket? thanks dudes

Pretty simple answer, try it and see, you will know before you get a response on this forum.
But to answer your question,

1/8 = 2/16 so that means the chain is larger (wider)than the sprocket. It should fit.
3/16 chains pretty much work on everything (except the really fat heavy duty sprockets mostly on new school freestyle), when you get a 1/8 chain, that is where you will more likely run into fit problems.

depends on the F/W. sometimes it works fine, but i've seen some (i forget the f/w brands) where the chain plates rest on the sides of the cog, rather than the rollers resting on/in the teeth. after a while this basically saws thru the f/w.

... did that make sense?
