I'm looking for all the Rockville BMX heads and Howard County racers from this era. Some of the names that come to mind and in no particular order are:

Jay Metzler, Mike Wheeler, Scooby, Spike Jonze, Anthony Brice, Danny Nash, Greg Raiford, Tom Weston, Bruce Bagley, Billy Fitzhugh, and Chris Boudreaux.

In particular I raced in the same class against Raiford, Fitzhugh and Weston.

I am from NY but I raced the Maryland State Championship at Howard County in 1985. I won 16I...It was cool they gave away Hutch plates with a #1 on it. I still have it. I was winning the national in 1986 when I fell all by myself on the four pack in the second to last straight while leading by a straightaway! I made up for it by winning the second day of the national.

Robby Wilkerson, yeah he was in my class as well and in two of the photos I've got here wearing a Ritchie Bike jersey. Can't forget Neil Allen while I'm at it.

Nigel, I checked your myspace and don't remember your face but from the dates you mentioned we must've been out at Secaucus together at some point. My two bikes were a Cyclecraft cruiser and an SE Assassin.

I still talk with Billy, Neal, and Kenny Allen. Kenny ran those tracks back in the day. I raced in MD. a few years later than this post '93-'95. My wife worked at NSA and we were stationed there for a couple of years. I hung out with Gordy Tyler, Billy Chandler, Andy Goglia, Brian Green, Brian Gagnon, Steve Wible, and I'm sure I'm forgettting a few others. I was a Columbia local. I raced Bensalem, York, Columbia most of the time. I have a couple MD-01 District #1 stashed in my number plate bin. heheheheheheh.......

I remember Rayner Matthews from back in the day and Gordy Tyler was someone I met upon my return to the sport in the 90's.

I came down to Columbia a few times to race (cruiser class) and have some video of a national race at Bensalem I believe.
