I found a blue 86/87 Greg LeMond road bike in good condition for $450. Should I pull the trigger?

double check the year. Lemond didn't start up til 1990.

True, but the frames LeMond rode in the TdF then were decaled LeMond, which is why it may hold historical importance.

did they do that, that early?

the earliest i can find were the re-badged "LOOK/TVT" frames in 1989.

Criscobath, I bought a "Team Lemond Club" bike in 1991, which if you want to compare to the other Lemond Bike, let me know. I'm in Allen Texas. The bike still has the original paint and most of the parts.

it's been picked up.

it had a bunch of upgraded/more modern parts on it, but there was some Miche stuff, if i recall.
