SLow Motion BMX Training Videos, How to improve your Training Options

I started filming slowmotion video last year with a Sanyo FH1, this year I upgraded to a Panasonic 750 the one with the detachable 3d lens. As a result, the quality of the image improve significantly especially in the previously dark areas and sharpeness. Our clubs head trainer thinks they are a fantastic training aid. I can't however show you because of site policy, no site promoting links.

Great stuff, I've been wanting to watch some slow-mo stuff for a long time.

Thanks mate it takes several hours to sort it all out going through all the footage, but it real does break down the movemt of the riders body. Next week I'm going to shoot some very close up stuff to show how the tyre is squashed in jumps and manuals that should make people think twice about riding on soft tyres.

The cheapest solution I can come up with that gives good slomo is as follows.

There are some excellent cameras in the 200-300 dollar range that will shoot HD at 60p fps, thats full frames. 60i is half frames, and gives blur, this you do not want. Software to slow down the vid, Power Director by Cyberlink this is the cheapest I can think of. Lastly you need a fast computer to process the vid.

I have a digital camera that shoots video it's a casio elixim and the great thing is that it takes 30, 210, 400 and 1000fps

It comes in real handy for some interesting engineering projects I have done
