Hey- Figured I'd try the new bars first since the others were def too small. I ended up getting "United Squad Bars" 8" rise 28.5 wide. They feel perfect, and I can get the bike in the air a lot easier. Thanx for the suggestions.

Don't forget to try moving your rear wheel up a bit, if possible. Taking a link out to shorten your effective chainstay length makes a HUGE difference.

Also On the Redline's flip that stem over. I do it to all my Redlines and it adds a few ticks of rise.
It doesn't look like it's much of a difference, but it helps alot. lack

Opps just noticed in the pic that is not a redline stock stem. A top load stem with some spacers help with the rise as well. Redline fork steer tube isnt long enough to get more than 5mm spacer in there. If thats a profile front loader there is no room for spacers.

I cant really tell with that pick, but hey bro if it feels good now have fun!

It's a Thomson Stem and there not a hair of room for a 1/8 of a mm spacer. I know everyone is different, but is there a better than other sprocket ratio. I have 44/14

In terms of gearing, I'd throw a 16 on the back for a traditional 44-16. It's the best starting point, IMO.

You want a 44/16 on there, brah. You'll be a ton happier.

44/14 is ridiculous. 44/15 is a meat head gear, 44/14 is crazy. I tried a 42/14 just for grins one day and it was way too much, and I used to run 46/16 (which is colossal by today`s standards)
