Deanna, get well soon!

Just think, now you get to have fun with vicodin for a while! LOL!

Seriously, get well soon. Stay positive. I've had my shoulder put back together and it is a hard rehab. Stay focused, positive, and remember, an extra month of rehab will make your shoulder stronger than it was before.

Listen to your doctors and good luck.

I'm having so much fun typing with my one arm and loads of vicodin in my system. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Thanks for all the well wishes and expecially to Elvis, Jim, Sandi, Michele Posey and Josette Tesar for looking after me and helping me sort everyting out with The Amanda's and their flight help.

I know I'm missing more people but frankly I was in shock when i felt the separation and don't remember alot after the crash. I wouldn't be suprised if I had a bit of a concussion.

I just got back from the sports medicine specialist and he referred me as expected to a orthopedist specialist for surgery. I meet with him next Monday and they are currently trying to get me in sooner to see him. He is known for working with all sorts of athletes and will hopefully be able to get me my full range of moyion back to race, snowboard or mnt bike again and as quick as possible.

The final verdict was a type 3 AC seperation. I'm seperated roughly 3-4 inches. I'm not sure how i fought the drive home yesterday but i'm glad to be home and resting until the surgery.

Thanks again to everyone for the calls, messages and thoughts. The BMX Family is the best.

I hope to see everyone soon.

I forgot to mention I also suffered 3 broken fingers in my right hand. my sholder injury was on my left so i'm basically a mess and able to type with only index and thumb finger.

If they want to cut on U get another opion! I had a level 3 year and a half ago and doc said no need for surgery. He said the only way to "fix" is to screw it back down. now the only thing that bothers me is if I try to do flat bench with the straight bar. and have a nice lump sticking out! good luck!!!!!!!!!!
