Aristotle? No...BS-totle. L O L.

I actually hold you in fairly high regard, sir. It`s not your fancy red plate, or your neat gray plate. It`s the fact that you ride what you want, how you want, and you really don`t care to answer to anyone for it. You`re a far better rider than you admit (so I hear anyway), and you seem to have the most original passion for BMX riding...getting on a bike and checking out for the sole purpose of having fun.

And whatever it`s called, I like seeing pics of people getting rad on a bike (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Threads like this are why in the future, ski ballet will be known as skier-x.

Dang it! what am I supposed to be doing?

I suspect that he's a dirt jumper ragging on racing subliminally. Probably jealous that BMX RACING made it into the Olympics before Dirt Jumping. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/diablo.gif) Frankly I was surprised to after Snowboarding got in the Winter Olympics. I would had thought freestyle/dirt jumping would had been the natural Summer compliment. Imagine my-our-pleasant surprise it was racing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sun_bespectacled.gif)

But really, in the old days when the kids got bored jumping what did they do? They started to organize to race the bikes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Back when I was a kid, OK lemme rephrase that 30 years ago, WAIT, that makes me feel old.

Back in the late 70's and early 80's, we jumped any thing we could when we couldn't get a ride to the track (Seeing that Ascot a lil too far for me to ride to). And even though I didn't make it into any grands or nationals or even state races I still rode till the wheels fell off. At least until Football, Army and LIFE, got in my way. Now that I have life under control I ride again. BMX is BMX, period! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

blah, blah, blah...

Geez Jeff. I really do appreciate it but I'm (was) just a guy riding his bike in his backyard. Heck, I don't even know how to put inspiring quotes down below my posts.

Just so eveybody understands, I'm being at least half way tongue-in-cheek here. This thread should rightly be titled My Favorite form of BMX! Mine is just an opinion just like anybody else's. It just happens to be right!!! (You see, like right there I was kidding...sort of.)

Dude, I'm a racer (sort of). Nothing subliminal, I'm fully conscious here.

The "racing" forum has almost 80,000 more replies than the "freestyle" or any other one on this particular site....that accounts for something to me....but what do I know.

Remember Woodward 1989? that was the best race and contest I have ever been to. It was all BMX. Even the BMX freestylers hit the track for a race and all the racers were hitting the ramps and dirt jumps, the best of both worlds!!!

Go to any other site and look for a racing forum with any replies.
The Come Up doesn't entertain it. BMXBoard has used it to discuss Basketball. I doubt BikeGuide has anything. People who don't race(or didn't grow up racing) don't look at this particular site. Racing willc ome back though. It just has to be less lame first and revolve around fun.

Both sites you mention have good points about them, but using them as measuring the body temperature of BMX is fraught with peril.

I'm just saying that those sites are based around those ares of BMX(as well as sh*t talking) where as this place is more about racing. Nothing to do with the life or death of bmx.
