We made many treks to the Gallery from Lake Oswego. The feeling I got walking into the Gallery was like XTC. Thanks Ben

He must have liked selling Suzuki's. There are 5 completes in that second pick and I see a frame hanging in the first one.

My favorite things from Ben's photos:

Photo #2: That R&R Hack is sitting in my garage right now :-) My kids still take it out and ride it around. Funny thing is it still has the MX-60 and the original tire on it. In the 26 years we have had it, I don't think we have ever had a flat on it. I remember buying a Purple Tuf Neck from Jay's late sister Paula after seeing that one on the Hack Bike. I specifically remember Paula explaining the 1-3-4-2 sequence of top cap tightening.

Photo #3: Lisa's #139 (and her brother Travis') race bikes sitting there. Modified early DGs with the gussets cut out.

Photo #5: That Baby Blue BD-III is still in my Mother's attic according to my younger brother.

Love those old shots.

Cheez, Bike Gallery bought out Suzuki's stock when they (Suzuki) bailed on the BMX market.

What awesome pics!

I would've had a hard time picking out what I wanted had I been a kid walking into that place.

Thanks for posting em!

I was a regular at the Bellevue Bike Gallery in the late 1970s. It was absolute magic walking into that place. As you walked in, the left and right side of the shop was filled with assembled DGs, Mongoose, Webcos and a few others. I remember two assembled team geese - one candy red and one candy blue.
There were Cook Bros components in the display case, thick rows of frames hanging from the ceilings, and loads of bars to the right of the cash register.
I bought my gold Race Inc frame there. I bought my red GJS frame there. Mike and Bob knew me by name, and always helped me out with selecting and installing components. They had just about everything in that shop.

I would guess that is where the one you have/had came from, still got it, or did you end up selling it.
