BMX Lego.
The 97 Quad is going more retro as a classic muscle bike.
The 05 Quad should end up looking quite interesting.

The entire 1 inch front end is an interchangable unit , a mock up front end , hence the Lego reference.

The Ti Brand X forks (? date & history to these forks) are waaay too skinny for the fat looking 05 frame

The 05 will "probably" be getting the 1 1/8th suspension forks fitted to the front end , I got some 1/ 18th Landing Gear's to use if the suspension forks don't work out.
The THUG wheels aero shape blends in nicely with the 05's tubing.

That GT piston stem is history , the 97's entire front end is going back to 1 inch..

I got 2 pair of sweetskinz coming my way as well.
When I get them here , the 05 Quad build will have a much better idea of where it is going.

Calm down Ozzy..... there is still a whole lotta parts shuffling & mock setups to go thru on each bike , before they are even close to being finished.

Especially on the 05 Quad.
No rules for that bike at all.

BTW Skyway never made the aerodynamic 5 spoke graphite THUG wheels , Spin Mag's did.

I love that black Quad. Those wheels are sweet, I'd keep those on there.

I can see a dark to light fade on the fork/frame to make the tires work. you might even be able to get away with jagged pinstripe transitions between the colors similiar to the outline on the blue tires.
check out the RC car sites to see some really creative use of outrageous colors.

I'm diggin' the bikes. It's nice to see someone else brave enough to use the Sweetskinz tires.

What flavor are on the blue Quad? By the way, that frame is an '04. SE did not make an aluminum Quad in '05.
