Never saw that "dirt" cover (nor any of their issues), as it was during my "BMX Blackout" period. That is a sea-ick shot.

But, alas, anyone in publishing more than about a half an hour should know that magazines without coverlines DO. NOT. SELL. Cool? Hell yeah? Commerce? Hell Naw.

That's just a page out of Ride BMX (US) magazine from the early years.

Dang Nate, what`s with the gorilla grip on the bars on that X up pic? LOL...Sweet pic though.

As far as "what gives?", it`s further proof that BS "gets it", as far as BMX is concerned, and gets BS closer and closer to being my BMX hero (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

holy crap..... I love, love, love that last 26" BMX picture. aaaaaahhhhg. I wanna go to some trails sooooo bad right now. BS, you do know it is raining really hard here in IN today... thanks so much. sigh.

BS can break out the style pics in less time than I can write a response. He IS the Vintage BMX hero.

the gorilla grip comes naturally now... I cant twist my right wrist, and I have twisted and slipped off the bars so much... lol. but when riding straight, I hold pretty loosely, since my elbos tend to fail me at random times....
I just habe to ride wierd. lol.

Motocross is racing, thus bicycle motocross is bicycle racing. Those pictures are freestyle NOT BMX.... when it started it was racing in vacant lots and such, then freestyle was born from that(according to Joe Kid).... My family was racing motocross in 1972 and I was brought up on a 20" on a motorcycle track, that is BMX.....
