he was living out in Las Vegas working for a construction company doing Land Development & General Construction (commercial, resort, retail, gaming, distribution and institutional projects)

still sounded the same and nice as ever.

Wow those are some names there. You had the Reese Bros. And Phil in there.
Casey Deshong and Gordon Tyler in 16X, Torrence Adams in 17 Inter., Danny Nash 14X, Rayner Mathews and Kevin Liebig in 13X. And is that the same Willie Zimmerman from Burger King and Wooden wheels fame in the 5-6 novice class?
I'm gonna say it was 1984 cause Casey Deshong's birthday was about Oct. 13th and he moved into my class(17 & Over X) for our state final Oct. 18th, 1984 and he's 16 there.

I'm fairly Willie raced in the 80s. Wasn't his dad a team manager for a big east coast team in the late 80s / early 90s?

USBOSS is this race covered in those magazines?

If it is the same one, Yes. Bill Zimmerman was a great team manager for Wooden Wheels. Even knocked off the Dans team for NBL #1. in the late 90's early 2000's.

Hey all,
Just got back from Vegas last night. Had lunch with Neal and Kenny Allen. Everyone looks great and nothing much has changed. After dinner we went to a local race kart track and raced each other... 45 mph - lots of fun, although Kenny tried to put me in the wall once or twice. And in typical Gnarly Neal fashion, I never saw him after the start - I think he even might have lapped me.

And of course, 12 hours after we leave Vegas, is snows on the strip for the first time in over 12 years!!!

And Kenny tells me that they saved EVERYTHING from Ho. Co. - he even mentioned the Berm Busters.. although he referred to them as "Sperm Busters.." (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Neal reminded me of "Neal's corner" in the Berm Busters where he would give advice on how to race... those were the days..

Anywho, here we are getting ready to race...

And here - I asked my wife to take a picture of us standing in front of the kart building and Neal said, hey lets pretend we are peeing on the building!!!

My goodness!! Torrence Adams is the person who got me into BMX in the first place. I forgot all about Darius Brown and John Spangler...is that "Spanky" who attended Woodward BMX camp around 85 or so?
